BLUE MONKEY WAVESPELL
SELI 2, - SILIO 14, COSMIC MOON
(28/6/08 - 10/7/08)
So what is the agenda for this Wavespell? Lets look at it's main characteristics. It is the 11th Wavespell in the Tzolkin, the third in the Blue Western Castle of Burning. It begins the second half of the Tzolkin and can be found right in the middle column.
As a Blue Monkey it represents magic, therefore the whole 13 day period is very magical. It can be full of tricks and illusion too, so be on your guard.
It can be a tough Wavespell to go through especially if you have been stubborn and unwilling to submit to monkey's will. Monkey magic is powerful stuff and requires respect. If you fool around with magic and you don't know what you are doing, you can inadvertently cause chaos.
The Wavespell begins with Blue Magnetic Monkey and concludes with Blue Cosmic Night. So the journey starts with 'attracting magic' and ends with 'transcending dreams'.
Noteable Days:
The Blue Monkey Wavespell and White Mirror Wavespell are the only ones that have no portal days within them. That does not mean that there aren't any noteable days though. On Red Electric Skywalker, you can 'activate an adventure'. On Yellow Rhythmic Warrior, you can 'organise a quest' and on Yellow Planetary Sun you can 'manifest enlightenment!'

        Moon Thirteen – COSMIC MOON  ( June 27, 2008 – July 24, 2008)
Moon of the Turtle – How can I expand my joy and love?
The Turtle Moon is the thirteenth Moon of the Mayan year. The number thirteen is associated with transcending and during this Moon it is a good time to contemplate all your achievements over the past year. The turtle or 'Aak' has often been noted for its longevity, appropriate then is this animal for the last Moon of the old year.
The Turtle Moon begins during Cancer and overlaps into Leo. The Mayans saw the turtle in the sky as an enormous constellation. His eyes are the twin stars of Gemini, Castor and Pollux. He stretches from Taurus with his back right leg and his front leg reaching towards Cancer.
Throughout many cultures the turtle has been regarded as a symbol of Heaven and Earth. The turtle crawls on the Earth with his belly, but his shell is like the sky. Turtle is the combination of Heaven and Earth. Turtles also carry their home on their backs; taking with them every where they go, everything they need.
Native Americans saw the continent of North America as a giant turtle; did they believe that their homeland also provided everything they needed?
Turtles are noted for their patience and people born under this Moon will share those characteristics. The famous story of the tortoise and the hare depicts the notion that sure and steady will get you what you want in the end.
People born under the Turtle Moon will have this skill of steadiness but also can be prone to hiding in their shell. They are very good at protecting themselves and will withdraw if they need to. You don't have to be born under this Moon to benefit from it. At this time of year it is good to go within to your own shell and consider what you have achieved this year. Be steady and patient this Moon and don't rush things. Contemplate Heaven on Earth and how you can be as perfectly balanced as the Turtle.

(15/6/08 - 27/6/08)
So what is the agenda for this Wavespell? Lets look at its main characteristics. It is th 10th wavespell in the Tzolkin and the second in the Blue Western Castle of Burning.
The agenda for this Wavespell is the search for truth. For 13 days we can contemplate the truth about ourselves and the world around us.
Clarity is so vital. Without it, our judgement becomes questionable. Take a long look in the mirror this wavespell and try to see the truth about yourself.
Make sure you are seeing your true potential and your inner beauty. Sometimes the truth hurts but it is a small price to pay for clarity.
The journey through this Wavespell ends with White Cosmic Dog, what starts out as a quest for truth ends 13 days later with the message that transcendance comes from love.
Notable Days
The White Mirror Wavespell is only one of two (the other being Blue Monkey) that has no portal days in it. However there are still some notable days within it. Blue Planetary Hand - perfect for healing and Red Crystal Moon- cooperating with the flow.

The Tzolkin neatly divides into five sections referred to as castles. Within each castle are four Wavespells. Each castle lasts 52 days. When you live with the calendar you begin to notice that the castles are in a sense like seasons with their own character. Paying attention to which Wavespell you are in is important but it is also useful to know what castle you
Today we are enter the Blue Western Castle of Burning! This Castle is the middle Castle of the Tzolkin.(There are five castles in all)
This period lasts 52 days and include four Wavespells which are very intense.
The first Wavespell, the Red Serpent, contains 10 portal days in a row. This is followed by the White Mirror Wavespell, the Wavespell of truth. The last day of this Wavespell ends the first half of the Tzolkin. It is then followed by the first day of the second half of the Tzolkin and the Blue Monkey Wavespell, 13 days of magic! Lastly, we have the Yellow Seed Wavespell which contains another 10 day portal day column. Phew!

The Blue Western Castle of Burning is the third castle and contains the
Red Serpent, White Mirror, Blue Monkey and Yellow Seed Wavespells.
The Blue Western Castle of Burning is the middle castle of the Tzolkin. This castle is very aptly named as it certainly does burn. This is because it contains the two portal day columns.
The first Wavespell is the Red Serpent Wavespell. On the second day of this wavespell there begins what I call a ten-day portal day extravangza! It is the most intense castle of them all. When ever it is due I have to psyche myself up as I know it will be a crazy time.
The second Wavespell of this intense castle is the White Mirror Wavespell, the time for 13 days of truth. And there is no escaping the truth!
The third Wavespell is the Blue Monkey, watch out because monkey is full of tricks and illusion. However if you a wise you may find a lot of magic too.
Lastly we have the Yellow Seed Wavespell which contains the second ten-day portal day extravaganza!
Personally I found this Wavespell easier then the first ten day extravaganza. Whereas the first is usually too intense to be enjoyable,
the second one is more fun. The seeds you planted before can be harvested now. You shall reap what you have sown.
As I have said before, if you enter this time period consciously and vow to use it to your benefit, you can achieve amazing things. It will catch you out though, and I can assure you that no one will have a boring 52 days. Be careful you don`t get burned!

Sending greetings to all Kin,
Below is the information on the Red Serpent Wavespell as posted on www.mayantimes.com website.
There are 10 consectutive Galactic Activation Portal days within this 13 day Wavespell.

Dianne

13moon.com explains Galactive Activation Portals days as:
"Within the 260 days of the Tzolkin (Harmonic Module) 52 are portals. They form the LOOM on which the entire Matrix is woven upon. On Portal Days expect heightened energies, access to amplified awareness and sensory experience, greater opportunity for information exchange and multi-dimensional insights." MAY WE INVITE THE POWER OF THESE PORTALS TO ACTIVATE DORMANT POTENTIAL AND EVOLUTIONARY TRANSFORMATION.

RED SERPENT WAVESPELL
Kali 44,  - Seli 16 Crystal Moon
(2/6/08 - 14/6/08)
So what is the agenda for this wavespell? Lets look at its main characteristics. It is the 9th Wavespell in the Tzolkin and the first in the Blue Western Castle of Burning.
The Agenda for this 13 day period is "instincts, kundalini and life force." The serpent is a powerful symbol within many cultures. To the Maya it was so sacred that they made this calendar in honour of it. Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent is the central character in their mythology.
As astronomers they would have observed that the Moon as it orbits the Earth, winds around the Earth in the same way as a snake. If the Moon left a trail of smoke like a jet plane you would see it clearly. The Maya based their calendar around the Moon. The number 13 providing the base number for their calculations.
The Red Serpent Wavespell contains 10 portal days and the 13 day journey through this Wavespell is very intense. Many life changes occur during this wavespell.
It is time to shed your old skin and emerge renewed and healed. It is time to transmute the poison in your soul. It is also time to balance your base chakra (kundalini).
Interestingly the Wavespell ends with Red Cosmic Earth which translates into - transcending evolution.
NOTABLE DAYS:
All the ten portal days are noteable!

 Moon Twelve – CRYSTAL MOON (May 30, 2008 – June 26, 2008)
Moon of the Rabbit – How can I dedicate myself to all that lives?
The Rabbit Moon is the 12th Moon of the Mayan year. The number twelve, represents co-operation. There were 12 Knights of the round table and 12 disciples of Jesus.
This Moon provides a good opportunity for co-operating with each other. Rabbits survive by living in groups and looking out for one an other. People born under this Moon will be good at working with others and at socialising.
The Rabbit Moon begins during Gemini and overlaps into Cancer. The Mayans called the Rabbit 'Tzub' and they saw a giant Rabbit in the sky in between the rattle of the Rattlesnake and the constellation of the Turtle. His eye was the star Aldebaran.
Rabbit people can be unconventional and not easily catergorised. They are good judges of character and friendly and loyal. Very affectionate, bunnies like cuddles and are very gentle. They rarely complain and are easy going. They can suffer from fear too much and they need to remember that they can rely on others for support. Rabbits are associated with magic and illusion (who pulls who out of the hat?) and they can guide you to magical realms.

"The times they are a changing"! - and FAST! environmental, economic, social, political and personal changes are mirroring a shift in consciousness.  The single most appropriate response is to be a part of a resilient and vibrant community that will flourish with these changes.

The community's ability to adapt gracefully to these changes will determine whether we usher in a golden age, as the world's communities adapt from quantity to quality and from survival culture into a creative cultural paradigm.  This evening presentation will offer inspiration, tools and seeds for this shift and graceful transition.

Kiwi producer director AJ, aka Diwata is here in Byron Bay to present his film "Deeper Inspirations" and "Evolving Rhythms" Tour which addresses future alternatives and the trans-cultural language of music.

YELLOW HUMAN WAVESPELL

ALPHA 19, SPECTRAL MOON - GAMMA 3, CRYSTAL MOON

(20/5/08 - 1/6/08)
So What is the agenda for this Wavespell? Lets look at its main characteristics. It is the eighth Wavespell in the Tzolkin and the last Wavespell in the White Northern Castle of Crossing.
The Thirteen days in this Wavespell are all about using your human body as a vessel. Fill it up with messages from Spirit, that is what your body is good for. Human beings are the connection between Heaven and Earth.
Your body here on Earth is very grounded but your soul connects you to the Heavens. We are channels. However we have free will and what we do with what we channel is up to us, this is true wisdom.
During this Wavespell take what information you channel and do what you think is best with that information. Interestingly, the last day is Yellow Cosmic Seed. So where you begin the 13 days with channeling, the end result, or point of it, is to ‘sow awareness’ with what you have channeled.
The lesson here is to share any revelations you receive. In fact it is very unhealthy to keep it to yourself. Channels are meant to channel, that is the point... you are a conduit, not a dead end. If you receive messages but keep them to yourself, you are not sharing what you are supposed to share. This can cause mental confusion because too much stuff builds up in your mind and has no outlet.

NOTABLE DAYS

The portal days in this Wavespell are Red Lunar Skywalker and Yellow Overtone Warrior. The first one is all about ‘channeling and adventure’ and the second one is about ‘empowering quests’. Also in this Wavespell we have Yellow Solar Sun, notable because it is a ‘solar sun’ a doubly sunny day!

BLUE STORM WAVESPELL

   LIMI 6,  - KALI 18, SPECTRAL MOON

(7/5/08 - 19/5/08)
So What is the agenda for this Wavespell? Lets look at its main characteristics. It is the seventh Wavespell in the Tzolkin and the third Wavespell in the White Northern Castle of Crossing.
The agenda for this 13 day period is changes and disruption. Some things in life become outdated yet are stubborn to get rid of. This is why a storm is a good thing. Disruptive yes, but it takes a big storm to blow away unwanted things.
Allow the winds of change to sweep away the unwanted things in your life. In this Wavespell make those important changes. It may be a bit scary, but we cannot make progress without making changes.
The Blue Storm is the catalyst and the Blue Storm Wavespell is a catalyst Wavespell. Things happen during this time that are not easily forgotten.
‘Self-generation’ is another keyword because through changes we can generate the energy we need to keep going.
Whereas the Wavespell begins with Blue Magnetic Storm it ends with Blue Cosmic Monkey – ‘transcending magically’.

NOTABLE DAYS

Red Resonant Serpent and Yellow Planetary Star are portal days. The first one is about ‘channeling kundalini’ and the second one is about ‘perfecting beauty’.

Moon Eleven – SPECTRAL MOON (May 2, 2008 – May 29, 2008)
Moon of the Serpent – How do release and let go?
The Mayans respected the Serpent above all other creatures as their God Quezecotal was a feathered Serpent. They saw in the sky, a giant rattlesnake. His tail was in the Pleadies, he slithered his way past Taurus and Aries and curled around past Orion and finished with his head back up towards Aries again. They called the snake 'Kaw'.
Serpents are found all over the planet and every culture has its mythology about them. Christianity blamed the poor serpent for the eviction of man from the garden of Eden. Yet the serpent is a symbol for healing. The famous snake wrapped around the staff is the symbol of the medical profession.
The Mayans saw the snake as a powerful healer. People born under this Moon will have the advantage of being able to re-create themselves time after time. This comes from the serpents ability to 'shed' its own skin and slither out from it renewed. This talent for renewal is what gained the snake its reputation for healing. You don't have to be born under this Moon to benefit from the snake's wisdom. Use this lunar cycle to re-create yourself. Leave the skin of your old self behind and begin again.
In Greek mythology the God Pan was depicted holding a serpent. This is very appropriate for a nature god as he is showing us that nature renews herself every spring. There is no death, only cycles. Have you ever seen a snake biting its own tail creating a circle? This ancient symbol again is representing that cycle. Often too will you see a  snake wrapped around an egg, another symbol of new birth.
In Eastern traditions the belief is held that we have seven chakras or points of power in our body. The base chakra is referred to as the Kundalini and is often depicted as a coiled serpent. When the serpent uncoils and bridges Earth (base chakra) to Heaven (crown chakra) your Kundalini becomes activated and thus enlightenment is obtained.

WHITE WORLDBRIDGER WAVESPELL
SILIO 21, PLANETARY MOON, - ALPHA 5, SPECTRAL MOON
(24/4/08 - 6/5/08)
So What is the agenda for this Wavespell? Lets look at its main characteristics. It is the sixth Wavespell in the Tzolkin and the second Wavespell in the White Northern Castle of Crossing.
The agenda for this thirteen days is equality. It is about building bridges and it is about death.  Sometimes in order to cross a bridge to places where we have never been before, we need to allow something to die.
Whatever held you back before, whatever stopped you from crossing the bridge, has to die, you have to let it go. Then you open yourself up to new worlds, in order to find equality.
We need to kill off any outdated parts of our personality. Fear – shoot it down. Shame –on your bike. Procrastination – don’t put off getting rid of it anymore!.
When you begin this thirteen day journey, you may start out wanting to cross bridges but where does it end? The last day is White Cosmic Mirror. A mirror of the cosmos is here on Earth. The bridge we all need to build to achieve equality, is the bridge between Heaven and Earth.

NOTABLE DAYS

Red Self-Existing Moon, Yellow Resonant Human and Red Crystal Earth are all portal days. Translated they mean (in order) – ‘defining flow’, ‘attune the vessel’ and dedication to evolution.
